Modern Android versions restrict general access to device storage. Status Saver therefore uses Android's Storage Access Framework. You manually select the relevant status folder using Android's own folder picker, so you control which folder the app can access.

No. Status Saver is designed without the unrestricted MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission. Folder access is granted by you through Android's system folder picker.

Yes. Status Saver supports separate connections for WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business status folders when those folders are available on your Android device.

When you save supported media, Status Saver creates a separate saved copy using Android storage mechanisms such as MediaStore. The original status source is not modified by the save operation.

Saved means Status Saver has created a separate media copy on supported device storage. Favorite is an app-level bookmark. Marking a status as a Favorite by itself does not necessarily create another gallery copy.

Supported Status Saver screens include multi-select actions, allowing multiple compatible media items to be selected and shared through Android's standard share system.

The Stories Viewer provides a story-style way to move through available status photos and videos. Supported video statuses include playback controls inside the app.

Status Saver can maintain local viewing information so newly detected status media can be distinguished from items you have already viewed.

App Lock lets you protect access to Status Saver with a six-digit PIN. On supported devices, fingerprint or face authentication can also be enabled. Biometric verification is handled by Android system security services.

No. Fingerprint and face authentication are handled by Android. Status Saver does not receive or store your raw fingerprint, face scan or biometric template.

Where supported, Status Saver can use Android device authentication to confirm that you are the device owner before allowing the PIN recovery or reset flow.

Private Vault lets you place selected media into encrypted app-private storage. Vault media is encrypted at rest using Android platform security and Android Keystore-backed cryptography.

Private Vault media is stored inside Status Saver private application storage instead of being exposed as ordinary gallery media. Temporary decrypted data may be created in restricted cache storage only when required for preview or sharing.

Private Vault is not a cloud backup. Uninstalling Status Saver, clearing application data, losing your device or losing access to the encryption key can permanently make Vault content unavailable. Important files should have a separate backup.

Status Saver uses Android secure-window protection on Private Vault screens where supported. Device manufacturers and Android environments can behave differently, so software screenshot protection should not be treated as an absolute security guarantee.

The free version may use Google AdMob advertising to support development and maintenance. Where applicable, Google User Messaging Platform is used to manage advertising consent and privacy choices before eligible advertising requests are made.

Status Saver may offer a one-time Remove Ads Premium purchase through Google Play Billing. The final price, currency and payment confirmation are presented by Google Play.

The Remove Ads purchase is intended to remove advertising. Core functionality such as status saving, Favorites, App Lock and Private Vault is not intended to depend on purchasing Remove Ads.

Where Google User Messaging Platform determines that a privacy-options entry point is required, Status Saver provides a Privacy Choices option so eligible users can review or update their advertising consent selections.
