Status Saver is primarily a privacy-focused Android utility for viewing, saving, organising, sharing and protecting status photos and videos from folders that the user explicitly authorises.

The website provides product information, support, Android storage guides, troubleshooting information, privacy information and other resources related to Status Saver.

Status Saver does not currently operate its own user-account or login system.

You do not need to sign in to WhatsApp through Status Saver in order to use the App's core status-saving functionality.

Information Processed When You Visit the Website

When you visit statussaver.site, certain technical information may be processed automatically by our hosting infrastructure, security systems and analytics services.

Android App Local Media & Folder Access

Status Saver uses Android's Storage Access Framework to allow you to choose supported WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business status folders.

The folder-selection interface is provided by Android. Status Saver receives access only to folders or files that you explicitly authorise.

• Status Saver does not require unrestricted “All Files Access” for its core workflow.
• The App does not require MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE for its core status-saving functionality.
• WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business folders can be authorised separately.
• Supported status photos and videos are processed locally for App functionality.
• Status Saver does not require access to your WhatsApp chat database for its core status-saving features.

When supported by Android, the App may retain permission to a folder that you explicitly selected so you do not have to reconnect the same source every time the App is opened.

Saved Media & Favorites

When you choose to save supported status media, Status Saver may create a separate copy using Android storage mechanisms such as MediaStore.

Saving a status does not intentionally modify or delete the original source status.

Favorites are local App records used to help organise media inside Status Saver.

Adding an item to Favorites does not necessarily create an additional gallery copy of that media.

Saved media remains under the control of the device user and may consume device storage until it is deleted.

Private Vault

Status Saver includes an optional Private Vault feature for media you choose to protect.

Vault media is stored in app-private storage and protected using encryption and Android platform security mechanisms.

Encryption keys may be protected using Android Keystore-backed cryptographic mechanisms.

When you preview or share Vault media, temporary decrypted files may be created in restricted App cache storage for the minimum period needed to provide that functionality.

Temporary Vault preview or sharing files may be deleted automatically or when eligible cache data is cleared.

App Lock, PIN & Biometrics

If you enable App Lock, Status Saver allows you to configure a PIN to protect supported areas of the application.

The App is designed to store a protected verification value rather than directly storing the plain-text PIN.

Where supported and enabled, fingerprint or face authentication may be used as an alternative unlock method.

Biometric authentication is handled by Android's system biometric services.

Status Saver does not receive or store your raw fingerprint, face scan or biometric template.

Notifications

If you enable or permit notifications, Status Saver may use Android notification services to provide status-related alerts, feature information or App notifications.

On Android versions requiring runtime notification permission, the App asks for permission before sending eligible notifications.

Notification permission can be changed at any time through Android Settings.

Android App Advertising & Consent

The free version of Status Saver may display advertising using Google AdMob.

Google and its advertising partners may process information necessary for advertising, measurement, fraud prevention, security and, where legally permitted and consented to, advertising personalisation.

Depending on device, region and consent status, such information may include:

• Device or advertising identifiers.
• Internet Protocol (IP) address.
• Approximate location derived from technical information such as IP address.
• App and device information.
• App interactions and advertising interactions.
• Diagnostic information.
• Fraud-prevention, security and compliance-related information.

Google User Messaging Platform

Where required, Status Saver uses Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to obtain or manage advertising consent before eligible advertising requests are made.

Available privacy and consent options may vary by country, regulatory region and Google's requirements.

Where UMP indicates that a privacy-options entry point is required, Status Saver may provide a Privacy Choices option inside the App.

Premium Purchases & Google Play Billing

Status Saver may offer Premium products, subscriptions or other eligible purchases through Google Play Billing.

Premium options may include products intended to remove advertising or unlock eligible Premium functionality.

Payment processing is handled by Google Play. Muneeb Dev does not receive or store your complete payment-card details through the Status Saver application.

Purchase and entitlement information may be obtained from Google Play to determine whether an eligible Premium entitlement should be active.

Eligible purchases may also be restored through Google Play where supported.

Third-Party Services

The Status Saver website and Android application may use third-party services required for specific functionality.

Data Retention & Deletion

Most Status Saver application information is stored locally on your device.

Local settings, Favorites, viewing state, App Lock configuration, saved references, cache data and Private Vault information may remain until you delete the relevant content, clear App data or uninstall Status Saver.

Cached temporary files may be removed automatically or through available App storage-management controls.

Status Saver currently does not operate its own user-account backend, so there is no separate Status Saver cloud account that must be deleted.

Website analytics, advertising, consent, security and server-log information may be retained by the relevant service provider according to that provider's retention settings, policies and legal requirements.

Your Privacy Choices

Depending on the feature, device, browser and region, you may have the ability to:

• Change or revoke Android folder access.
• Disable notifications through Android Settings.
• Disable biometric unlock inside Status Saver.
• Remove App Lock where available.
• Delete saved media.
• Remove items from Private Vault.
• Clear eligible temporary cache files.

• Manage or delete browser cookies through your browser settings.

Children's Privacy

Status Saver does not operate its own account system intended to knowingly collect personal information from children.

Advertising, analytics and related Google services may be subject to Google Play, AdMob, AdSense and applicable regional age and consent requirements.

Where age-related or consent restrictions apply, eligible services should be configured and used in accordance with applicable platform and legal requirements.

Security Practices

Status Saver uses Android platform security features and local encryption for supported security functions.

Measures may include Android Keystore-backed cryptography for Private Vault and system-provided biometric authentication where enabled.

Private Vault screens may also use Android secure-window functionality to restrict screenshots or screen capture where supported.

The Status Saver website also uses normal web-security measures and HTTPS to help protect information transmitted between supported browsers and the website.

No software, electronic storage, transmission method or security system can guarantee absolute protection.
